The Green Bay Packers weren’t the only successful team at Lambeau Field this past season. White Lake fielded one too.
Last week, volunteers from the White Lake school district received an honorable mention award at the annual non-profit organization appreciation dinner hosted by Delaware North Company, which operates the concessions stands at the games. The citation accompanied by a $250 bonus, was in recognition of district’s “consistent and dedicated service” providing concession crews for home Packer games this past season.
“We have a core group that is dedicated to almost every game,” Cathy Lundgren said. When someone works a game, they find out it’s hard work but it’s fun. They want to come back.
