Judge denies request to suppress statements

A trio of Langlade County sheriff’s deputies provided testimony in Judge Fred Kawalski’s courtroom Monday in a motion hearing held in the case of an Antigo man cited for an incident involving children at Mueller’s Lake in Polar this June. Victor A. Havenga, 57, of 508 Forrest Ave. remains housed in the local lockup on a $10,000 cash bond charged with three felony counts of false imprisonment and a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct.
