Jail ordered for theft from business & other court activity

According to the news reports today, an Antigo woman has been sentenced to jail time for stealing from her employer, many other received sentences of probation. Jayme L. Guenthner of Fourth Avenue, age 26, was ordered to serve 90 days in jail for the theft of over $10,000 from her previous employer, BP Service Station. She had not made the deposits and she had cashed about $1,800 in fraudulent checks. Someone had also attempted to access the business' financial computer records. She was also sentenced to 2 years of probation and she must pay $16,069 in restitution. Dawn K. Dieck of Aniwa, age 45, received a sentence of 10 days in jail and 1 year probation for possession of illegally obtained drugs. She sold 15 muscle relaxers to an informant for $20 a peice. 2 year deferred prosecution was ordered for the felony charge of delivery of prescription drugs. A count of bail jumping was dismissed. Zeth Ashton of Fifth Avenue, age 17, received 1 year probation for disorderly conduct, child neglect and bail jumping. Adam B. Norman of Merrill, age 40, received deferred prosecution for one year for a second offense of OWI. The case dates back to December of 2011. He was also fined $263.50 for open intoxicant as a driver. Scott A. Dexter Jr. of Ackley Street, age 26, received 1 year of probation for criminal damage to property. Other charges of disorderly conduct and battery were dismissed. Jimmylee Streich of Wausau, age 24, was sentenced to 1 year of probation for criminal damage to property and obstructing an officer. He had also been charged with burglary, but that was dismissed. Gregg Erickson of White Lake, age 63, received a fine of $50 plus costs for a disorderly conduct ordinance charge. Omar Torres-Rodriguez of Evergreen Road, age 26, was fined $100 plus costs for a disorderly conduct ordinance charge. Nichole Verstoppen of Lincoln Street, age 24, received a fine of $100 plus costs for bail jumping. She had also been charged with driving with a revoked license, but that charge was dismissed. Michelle L. Marten of South Clermont Street, age 43, received a sentence of 9 months of probation for forging a prescription. She had altered a prescription to receive the drugs a day earlier. Corey R. Lese of Nickle Road, age 42, received a sentence of 5 days in jail, revocation of his drivers license for one year, equip his vehicle with an ignition interlock device and pay a fine of $1,190 for a second offense of OWI. Jennifer L. Sikora of Bear Lake Road, age 35, pleaded not guilty to charges of possession of narcotic drugs, controlled substance, paraphernalia, and possess with intent to deliver methamphetamine. Her next court hearing is set for June 4. Crystal A. Ross of South Superior Street, age 19, has bond set at $1,000 cash on charges of misappropriate identification to obtain money and theft. She is accused of taking a bank card from an Antigo residence and using it to obtain cash. She will return to court next week.
