Icy conditions foul roads, close schools

Freezing rain across Antigo and much of northcentral Wisconsin has closed schools, detoured highway traffic and canceled Gov. Scott Walker’s trip to Wausau. The Wisconsin Department of Transportation temporarily closed Highway 47 in both directions Tuesday morning between Neopit and the Langlade County line because of ice. And a section of Highway B from Highway 45 to North Shore Road within the Bass Lake area of the county was closed following an assortment of accidents. Full Story: Antigo Daily Journal
