Girl Scout cookie debt may have been motive in CoVantage robbery

A bizarre bank robbery in Shawano County Monday may have been tied to the sale of Girl Scout cookies. Darrin H. Church, 47, is charged in connection with the robbery at CoVantage Credit Union’s Shawano office just after 3:30 p.m. Monday Bank employees at CoVantage, where Church is a customer, told police Church had been in the bank three times that day before handing a teller a note demanding money.
