Genevieve “Gen” Praslowicz, 94, of Birnamwood, an original owner of Chet & Emil’s in Birnamwood who continued to light up the bowling lanes well into her 80s, died Friday, Sept. 12, 2014 under the care of Homme Home of Wittenberg and LeRoyer Hospice.
She was born May 28, 1920 in Antigo, a daughter of the late Stanley and Sophie (Samborski) Preboski. She married Emil F. Praslowicz on June 22, 1942, in Fayetteville, N.C. He preceded her in death on March 12, 1988.
