Friday court activity in Langlade County

Some locals & others received fines, probation and bonds in Langlade County court on Friday. Charles West of Aniwa, age 22, received a $50 fine plus costs for possession of drug paraphernalia dating back to April. Amy Kegler of East Tenth Avenue, age 30, received a fine of $50 plus costs for possession of drug paraphernalia, dating back to 2011. Jaden Boodry of Wausau, age 26, entered a plea of not guilty to charges of battery to law enforcement , criminal damage to property, disorderly conduct, resisting or obstructing an officer and battery. The offenses occured in December of 2012, where he was arrested for a disturbance at a local residence and fought with police. Michael D. Radtke of Old 26 Road, age 28, received a sentence of probation for one year for battery. He was also ordered to continue cooperation with social services. It is indicated that he left bruises on a child when using a belt for discipline. Justin E. McGarry of White Lake, age 27, received a $500 cash bond for a third offense of operating while intoxicated, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a revoked license. The marijuana and paraphernalia were given up to officers when he was arrested. The preliminary breath test showed a concentration of more than twice the legal limit of intoxication. He is set to return to court on Monday. Tasha M. Macedo of New Bedford Mass., age 23, received a fine of $887 and driver license revocation for 6 months for a first offense of operating while intoxicated.
