Veteran foreign correspondent Georgie Anne Geyer has joined the lineup of Antigo Daily Journal columnists.
The NEA news service, which supplies the Journal with columnists, has added Geyer to its lineup, replacing Diana West. Her column will appear weekly.
A native of Chicago and a graduate of Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, Geyer attended the University of Vienna on a Fulbright Scholarship before beginning her career as a reporter. She became a foreign correspondent specializing in Latin America while working for The Chicago Daily News—one of the new women to fill that role.
