Five candidates have already expressed an interest, and there is time for more to emerge as well, as the Antigo school board grapples with filling a vacancy for a potentially tie-busting seat.
At a special meeting Tuesday, the board extended the deadline for people interested in applying to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of Dr. Karl Niedermann, until Oct. 28.
