Few surprises as new council term begins

The Antigo Common Council began its 2015 term Tuesday, with a few surprises.

At the annual reorganizational meeting, aldermen selected Fourth Ward Alderman Tom Bauknecht over incumbent Tim Kassis as council president.

The results were announced following a secret paper ballot.
