Felony counts filed in case of child neglect

An Antigo couple accused of leaving three children ages eight and under to fend for several hours on their own is now facing criminal charges. Michelle G. Steffers, 32, and William F. Moffat, 42, both of 135 Dorr St., were each charged in Langlade County Circuit Court Monday with second degree reckless endangerment of safety, a felony, and a misdemeanor count of child neglect.
