Elks host annual Flag Day ceremony

The Antigo Elks Lodge held its traditional Flag Day program Thursday evening in the pavilion at the Langlade County Fairgrounds with the assistance of local Boy Scouts and a spirited crowd.

The event was moved indoors by assurances of inclement weather.

While June 14 is the official date for Flag Day, the lodge chose to hold it on Thursday to enjoy the attraction of the Music in the Park program and plenty of pie and custard.
