Elcho man arrested for pot, others for alcohol & pranksters

According to the newspaper today, a 26 year old Elcho man was arrested for pot and paraphernalia. The man was a passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over in a traffic stop. During a search of the auto, law enforcement found marijuana and drug paraphernalia. An Antigo woman will be charged after she attempted to smuggle items into the Langlade County Jail. She tried to hide a bag that had in it a lighter, cash and a plastic bag, which at some point may have contained bath salts. A probation hold was ordered for a 20 year old Antigo man after he was found at a downtown tavern. His probation included a no-drink, so he was arrested. A man from Watertown will likely be charged with a 2nd offense of drunk driving after he was stopped early Saturday on Neva Road. After failing field sobriety, he was tested and had a reading of .23 percent alcohol content from a breath test. The legal limit for driving in Wisconsin is .08 percent. Some young boys may be charged criminally for a prank at a local grocery store. They are accused of taking a video of a soda bottle being thrown and exploding in the store. Similar videos have been taken and put on the internet. The boys had fled the scene but were caught and taken to their parents.
