Drivers in hospital area get pedestrian warning

Pedestrians in the very busy area of Langlade Hospital have an extra measure of safety today, due to a rather unique partnership between the city and medical facility. Crews from the city’s Department of Public Works Monday installed new solar-powered strobe lights marking crossways at Fifth Avenue and Aurora Street. The lights will be activated by pedestrians and will flash for 30 seconds on both sides of Fifth Avenue. Full Story: Antigo Daily Journal
