Antigo physician Dr. Noel Deep has been elected to the American Medical Association’s Council on Science and Public Health.
Balloting was held at the AMA annual meeting in Chicago. He will serve a four-year term with the potential for re-election to a second term.
“I am deeply honored and humbled by this honor bestowed on me by my peers who have chosen me to serve my patients and profession through the work of this council and I shall strive hard to prove myself worthy of this trust that is placed in me,” Dr. Deep said.
