A leading Antigo industry uses a quarter-of-a-million gallons of water every working day from the city’s municipal water system, part of statewide industrial usage that tops 2 trillion gallons annually.
According to the state Department of Natural Resources, Wisconsin industries pull more than 2 trillion gallons of water from the state’s lakes, rivers and underground aquifers yearly.
