Firefighters from the town of Elcho, Pelican Lake and Rural Fire Control responded to a mid-morning house fire at the Joe Draeger resident at W10682 Bass Lake Rd. on Sunday. The house was fully engulfed in flames when crews arrived at about 10:30 a.m. and little could be saved. According to Elcho Chief Bob Jensen, the blaze was linked to ashes that had been cleaned out from a fire Saturday evening.
