On Monday afternoon, a member of the Langlade County Highway Department reported to sheriff's deputies that people had trespassed onto the county's gravel pit and had stolen gravel and crushed blacktop. One cable was completely snapped, and the other was pulled to the point of bending the beam. Tracks indicate an ATV or UTV had been on the scene.
