Courthouse services spark Memorial Day

Stressing service, sacrifice and commitment, the northwoods on Monday honored those who have fallen in time of war. Parade and ceremonies were held across the region, including a poignant remembrance that brought a substantial crowd to the Veterans Memorial on the Courthouse Square hosted by the local Disabled American Veterans, American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars organizations.
