A couple made appearances in court after law enforcement found syringes, tourniquets, pills, pipes, tubing and jewel bags in the vehicle. Officers suspect that the items were used for ingesting bath salts and other illegal drugs.
Linzie C. Reimer of Bryant, 20, was released on a $1,000 signature bond on charges of possessing drug paraphernalia and felony bail jumping.
Jeffrey J. Jones Jr. of Bowler, 34, paid $250 cash to be released for possessing drug paraphernalia and driving with a revoked drivers license.
Both of their cases are set to return to court later in November.
Other unrelated cases in court are as follows:
Carl D. Messer of Fifth Avenue, 45, received a $1,000 signature bond for domestic disorderly conduct. He entered a plea of not guilty.
John Gehrig of Pelican Rapids, Minnesota, entered a plea of not guilty for charges of battery, obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct for a bar fight on October 5th in Elcho. She is accused of biting a man's arm, drawing blood through his coat. After leaving the bar, she racked up traffic violations also, which include drunk driving.
Corey W. Resch of Trout Road, age 20, received a $500 signature bond for charges of resisting or obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct. On October 13 he was questioned by police about being intoxicated and he ran off. Officers tased him, which caused him to fall to the ground, on his face on the sidewalk, which cause facial injuries. He is still in jail due to a probation hold. His next court appearance is set for December 16.
