County Board OKs insurance charges, passes forest grant plan

The Langlade County Board of Supervisors approved a balancing act that will increase health insurance premiums for unions that did not go along with an Act 10 change dating to early 2012. Those unions have enjoyed reduced health insurance rates and for the next eight months of 2013 the increase is being sought to even the scales with unions that agreed to the increases earlier and the non-union employees.
