The Community Christmas Dinner, in a new location for 2014, seemed to run as smooth as silk Thursday at North Star’s banquet facility.
The dinner served a wide range of people with plates filled with ham, turkey, mashed potatoes, dressing and a table of delicious desserts.
Mary Schmoll, one of the dinner’s organizers for the past 14 years, explained there was a big crowd to please with holiday food. It was even more of a challenge when you consider it is all done with volunteer labor.
