Antigo’s growing network of trails and recreational opportunities received another boost this week, with the Rotary Club donating time and money toward construction of a new bridge on the Spring Brook Trail.
According to Sarah Repp, the city’s director of parks, cemeteries and recreation, the bridge was made possible by club fund-raising efforts and a matching grant from District 6220. The city received a total of $5,000 toward the project, divided equally between the local club and the district organization.
