City has found a new inspector for buildings, zoning administrator

After months of operating short-staffed, the city of Antigo is close to having a new building inspector and zoning administrator.

At a special meeting Wednesday, the Antigo Common Council hired Roger Musolff to fill the vacancy caused by the death of Jerry Wilhelm in March.

Musolff, who most recently served as a building inspector for the city of Wausau, will be paid $13,168 in salary and benefits for the remainder of this year, assuming an Oct. 20 start date.
