Capitol rotunda Christmas tree leaving here Tuesday for the holiday

A Kempster-area balsam fir will be rolling before the light of day Tuesday heading toward Madison to serve as the Yule tree in the Wisconsin Capitol rotunda, offering a stunning sight at the home of state government. The tree was cut Friday morning from property owned by Jim Draeger and prepared for the trip that will start Tuesday morning. Full Story: Antigo Daily Journal
