A Kempster-area balsam fir will be rolling before the light of day Tuesday heading toward Madison to serve as the Yule tree in the Wisconsin Capitol rotunda, offering a stunning sight at the home of state government.
The tree was cut Friday morning from property owned by Jim Draeger and prepared for the trip that will start Tuesday morning.
