William Bostwick, who has represented the towns of Evergreen; Ward 1 Langlade and Wolf River Ward 2, resigned from the Langlade County Board of Supervisors at the May meeting Tuesday morning.
The action came as a complete surprise to his fellow board members and the gallery.
Bostwick, who resides in Lily, explains to members of the board he had come to gain an understanding and experience of the local level of government.
