The Langlade County Board eased through a decision that has been difficult to come by for the past several months this morning.
Trimming the requirements for the position to an associates degree, the board approved the filling of a post to share the double duties as a recreation director and work with the forestry department.
The slot has been contentious for several months as the supervisors have struggled with wages, fringe benefits and responsibilities.
