Kevin Calhoun was arrested less than a week after the robbery, following a traffic stop by the Langlade County Sheriff's Office on the alleged getaway driver which set a series of events into motion.

Everest Metro Police Chief Wally Sparks said the department received a report of a bank robbery at the corner of Schofield Avenue and Camp Phillips Road at 11:53 a.m. Jan 13. He escaped on foot before police arrived.
