Antigo court cases include burglary, bail jumping, disorderly conduct

An assortment of cases in Langlade County court received sentences today. Crystal Ross, 19, of Plattsburg Street, was bound over for trial and pleaded not guilty on a bail jumping count, along with disorderly conduct and endangering safety with use of a dangerous weapon. She was taken into custody after chasing a man with a knife on June 30. She cut herself and knicked the man. Her next court date is set for July 15. Justin Schwede of Wausau, age 25, entered a no contest plea to misdemeanor bail jumping. He received 1 year of probation and payment of court costs. Devin Kolpack of Smith Avenue, age 18, received a fine of $100 plus court costs to possession of marijuana. The court dismissed a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Caleb Kluwe of Wausau, age 19, waived his preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to a felony burglary charge. His next court date is set for July 22. Justin Szitta of Sixth Avenue, age 31, received a sentence of one year of probation for a domestic disorderly conduct charge. He must also undergo counseling. In a plea agreement, a charge of strangulation/suffocation was dismissed. Theologian Jenkins, 18, of Seventh Avenue entered a plea of no contest to disorderly conduct. He will be assessed court costs. He spent 8 days in jail. Devin Kennicker of Tenth Avenue, age 18, received a fine of $100 plus costs for retail theft from Antigo Kwik Trip. Onawa Wahsquonaikezhik, 20, received a 5 month jail sentence, of which she has already served 79 days, for violating her probation. She had been put on probation in December for retail theft. She is also ordered to pay restitution of $241.47.
