Antigo council welcomes new faces Tuesday evening, Kassis is president

The Antigo Common Council welcomed a familiar face back to the chambers Tuesday, seating Phil Beck as Fifth Ward alderman. Beck, along with new Ninth Ward council member Daniel Bauknecht, were sworn in at the opening of the board’s reorganizational meeting. Also taking part in the ceremony were Joe Kapusta, First Ward; Jim Darling, Second Ward; and Glenn Bugni, Seventh Ward. All were re-elected without opposition in the April 2 balloting.
