Antigo area residents upset as electrical power goes out for a hour

In times of weather emergencies, such as the power outage which affected a widespread area of Antigo this morning, the 911 dispatch center at the Langlade County Safety Building becomes the host for a hot bed of activity. Wisconsin Public Service put the outage total at 2,700 customers, indicating that the problem lied with an issue at a substation on Antigo’s east side.
