Annual pig roast closes the fair season

The Langlade County Fair was unofficially capped for the year Thursday, when Lakeside Market hosting the annual 4-H pig roast.

The yearly event, with proceeds to benefit the 4-H scholarship fund, drew hundreds of diners, who munched on pork sandwiches, potato salad and apple sauce with ice cream for dessert.
