Truck thief behind bars, $10,000 bond set & other Antigo cases

The man who stole two Chevy trucks in one day is now behind bars with a $10,000 cash bond set. Chase J. Koeppel, age 29 of Cedar Street has been charged in the case. He is accused of stealing a work truck from Parsons dealership parking lot, then leaving that truck on the east side of Antigo and stealing another truck from a Western Avenue residence. The second vehicle was found stuck in a field near Elcho. If he is able to post bond, conditions of that bond are no use of alcohol and no use of bath salts. In an unrelated case, $1,000 signature bond was set for Anthony Rychtik Jr., age 44, of Wausau Road, for domestic abuse and child abuse. He also faces bail jumping charges due to a similar type of case from May. Other cases were bonds were set: Kurt L. Drexler, age 34, of Elcho received a $1,000 signature bond for lewd and lascivious behavior. He was seen near his home naked. He is a convicted sex offender. He is currently jailed on a probation hold. Rodney C. Olson, age 50, of Third Avenue, also received a $1,000 signature bond for possession of marijuana as a second or subsequent offense, trespassing and disorderly conduct. Officers found a bag containing over 3 grams of pot in his possession. Taylor E. Lowell, age 33, of North Superior Street received a $1,000 signature bond for possession with intent to abuse a hazardous substance and felony bail jumping. She has other "bath salts" charges currently open from March. Crystal A. Ross, age 19, of Second Avenue, also received $1,000 signature bond for bail jumping, theft and criminal damage to property. A man reported that Ross had tried to sell him "bath salts", once the investigation started, two stolen bicycles were found in her possession. Brandon A. Spotswood, age 23, of Gleason received a $100 cash bond for bail jumping. He is accused of consuming alcohol, which violated a court order. Timothy J. Hopkins, age 26, of Graham Avenue received a $500 signature bond for possession of drug paraphernalia. Brooke L. Jaeger, age 17, of Wittenberg, received a $500 signature bond for resisting arrest after allegedly running from police. Bruce D. Spencer, age 52, of Seventh Avenue, received a $500 signature bond for possessing drug paraphernalia. A pot pipe was found when he was stopped for a traffic violation. Paul W. Schaefer, age 27, of Kaukauna, entered a not guilty plea to a second offense of operating while intoxicated. Lalena R. Schisel, age 38, of Neshkoro pleaded not guilty to a charge of theft for a "gas drive-off". Ramsey J. Bringham, age 28, of Elcho pleaded not guilty to a battery charge from an incident last year.
