Area law enforcement agents are urging caution in light of recent scams which often use scare tactics to fool their victims.
Antigo police and Langlade County sheriff deputies indicate that several residents have been the target of “grandma or grandpa” scams in recent weeks with one individual losing in excess of $25,000.
