Antigo students had a vacation day from classes on Monday, but that didn’t mean they were relaxing.
Instead, several dozen students from various school and community organizations joined the city’s annual Spring Brook cleanup, scheduled this year to coincide with the day off.
“We had a great turnout,” Director of Parks and Recreation Sarah Repp said. “I think scheduling it on a no-school day absolutely brought a better turnout.”
