Remington fund aids fire departments

Local fire departments are once again the beneficiaries of one of the area’s leading philanthropists.

Earlier this month, representatives of 12 area fire departments were each granted $3,000 in funds by the Elwyn Remington Foundation.

“We are very appreciative and thank the foundation for its continued support,” said Neal Wozniak who serves as president of the Langlade County Fire Chiefs Association.
