Prison term for seventh owi, jail time for others

An Antigo man was sentenced to prison for a seventh offense of operating while intoxicated.

Walter L. Kemp, 55, of Highway 45 South, will serve three years in prison with three years of extended supervision. His drivers license was revoked for three years. He must install an ignition interlock device on his vehicle for one year. Alcohol assessment with follow through was also ordered. Charges of disorderly conduct, resisting or obstructing an officer and operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration seventh offense were dismissed.

Eric L. Peterson, 44, of North Hogan Street, was sentenced to 30 days jail and one year probation for possessing narcotic drugs. He must undergo alcohol or drug assessment with follow through and pay court costs. A charge of obtaining a prescription drug with fraud was dismissed.

Aaron J. Jackson, 45, of County Road S, received a 170 day jail term for a fourth offense of operating while intoxicated. His drivers license was revoked for 30 months. He must install an ignition interlock device on his vehicle for one year. Alcohol assessment with follow through was also ordered. Charges of operating while revoked and operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration fourth offense were dismissed.
