Mobile home fire is total loss

A mobile home in the Gleason area at W14326 First Avenue Road was destroyed by fire early today (Monday). No one was injured and the family was able to get their pets out without incident. Jerry Wallace was woken up around 5:00am from the smell of smoke. He thought it was from the fireplace at first and then saw a pump house near the home was on fire. The American Red Cross was contacted to help the family. Fire Departments from the Town of Russell and Antigo were called to the scene. Wisconsin Public Service was also there for assistance.
