Merle A. Wendt, a longtime public official who helped shape Antigo as a founder of what is now CoVantage Credit Union, died Thursday, July 10, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. He was 94 years old.
Mr. Wendt was a founding member of the Antigo Co-op Credit Union, now known as CoVantage, in the 1950s.
