Langlade County recent criminal court activity (02.18.2014)

A few cases were resolved, bonds were set and reduced. Another bath salts case was concluded.

Shane A. Tillman of Third Avenue, 28, had bond set at $2,000 cash for charges in two separate cases. He is currently jailed on a probation hold. He is charged with two counts of possession of narcotic drugs, retail theft and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. He is scheduled to return to court on February 24.

Anthony Rychtik of Sixth Avenue, 47, received a sentence of 1 year probation for possession of drug paraphernalia. One year deferred prosecution was ordered for a charge of possession of marijuana as a second or greater offense.

Ryan R. Noskowiak of Maple Road, 30, was sentenced to six months probation for possession of a hazardous substance with the intent to abuse (bath salts). A second charge of possession of drug paraphernalia was dismissed in a plea agreement.

Larry M. Urick of Pickerel, 25, was sentenced to one year probation, domestic abuse counseling & alcohol and drug assessment and follow through for violating a harassment restraining order. A second count of burglary was amended to criminal trespassing, which he also received one year probation for (concurrent with other charges). A third count of resisting or obstructing an officer resulted in the same, one year of probation to run concurrent with other counts/charges. In a separate case, he received deferred judgment for two years for felony bail jumping.

Marvin E. Adkins of Birnamwood, 53, was sentenced to 10 days in jail, which were already served, for an amended charge of possession of marijuana. The original charge was a second or greater offense. A charge of possession of drug paraphernalia was dismissed in the plea agreement.

Michael G. Olds of Crandon, 32, received a reduction in bond from $5,000 cash down to $4,000 cash for charges in three separate cases. Those charges are substantial battery intending bodily harm, intimidating a victim by using or attempting to use force, disorderly conduct and two counts of knowingly violating a domestic abuse order. He is scheduled to return to court on March 24.
