Langlade County criminal court activity for Tuesday, March 04, 2014.

David J. Maszk of Schofield, 28, was sentenced to 3 months jail and 2 years probation for retail theft, possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor bail jumping. In a separate case he was also sentenced to 2 years probation for theft, and both terms run concurrent. Charges of misdemeanor bail jumping and theft were dismissed in a plea agreement.

Dale E. Monnot of Merrill, 58, was sentenced to 45 days in jail, 2 years probation, 1 year ignition interlock and a $2,378 fine for operating while intoxicated as a third offense. He is also ordered to undergo alcohol and drug assessment and follow through. A charge of operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration was dismissed.

Merle Marcel Korvela of White Lake, 49, received deferred judgment for 1 year on a battery charge. He was sentenced to 30 days jail and $250 fine plus costs & DNA surcharge for disorderly conduct.

Melissa A. Bloechl of Elcho, 43, entered not guilty pleas for all 43 charges against her. 40 of those of those charges are misconduct in office, acting with excess authority, 2 counts of forgery and 1 count of theft in a business setting greater than $10,000. She is scheduled to return to court on May 28.
