Langlade County criminal court activity for 07.08.2014.

Shane A. Albrecht of Wittenberg, 34, failed to appear in court on a charge of disorderly conduct. A body only warrant was authorized for his arrest.

Michael R. Nelson of Merrill, 39, failed to appear in court for a charge of possessing drug paraphernalia. A body only warrant was authorized for his arrest.

Peter J. Spencer of Sixth Avenue, 28, received a bond reduction from $500 cash to a $1,000 signature bond for two counts of misdemeanor bail jumping. Conditions of bond include no use of alcohol and maintain residence at his parents home.

Ward A. Samuelson of Crandon, 29, was sentenced to one year probation for possessing drug paraphernalia as a repeater. He must also undergo alcohol or drug assessment with follow through and pay court costs. A charge of possessing an illegally obtained prescription was dismissed.

Jason A. VanSleet of Wausau, 39, received one year probation for possessing drug paraphernalia. He must undergo alcohol or drug assessment with follow through and pay court costs. Charges of possessing marijuana as a second or greater offense, maintaining a drug trafficking place, possessing a firearm by felon, possessing methamphetamine, possession with intent to deliver prescriptions and possessing an illegally obtained prescription were dismissed.

Jack R. Scribner of Iola, 50, was sentenced to serve one year in local jail for a probation revocation. The original crime was burglary.

Daniel E. Neumann of Deerbrook, 39, received one year deferred judgment for theft.



New charges filed today:

Vito J. Krutke of Milwaukee, 17, is charged with battery. His next court date is July 15.

John L. Remington of Second Avenue, 38, is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. The incident occurred on June 11. An initial appearance is scheduled for August 4.

Joseph M Greatens of DePere, 40, is charged with disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property, which happened on June 21. An initial appearance is set for August 4.
