Langlade County criminal court activity 05.15.2014

A few cases were resolved. Some new charges were filed yesterday and today.

Bobbi Jo M. Teske of Pearl Avenue, 21, was fined $100 plus court costs for possessing marijuana. A second charge of possessing drug paraphernalia was dismissed. A review will take place in one year, if no criminal activity has occurred, the court may expunge the charge.

Geoffery Banks of Clermont Street, 30, received a bond reduction from $10,000 cash down to $2,500 cash for charges of strangulation and suffocation, disorderly conduct domestic abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia. Conditions of bond include no use of alcohol and no contact with the victim. He is scheduled to return to court on June 2.

New charges filed on Wednesday, May 14:

Ryan A. Becker of Pickerel, 43, is charged with second degree sexual assault of a child and false imprisonment, both as a repeater. The offenses happened on April 20. An initial appearance is scheduled for May 19.

Clifford A. Kwick of Wilson Road, 51, is charged with possession of marijuana as a second or greater offense and possession of drug paraphernalia, both as a repeater. The incidents occurred on April 24. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

April A. Kwick of Wilson Road, 40, is also charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, with the offenses occurring on April 24. An initial appearance is set for June 2.

Zachary M. Moore of Third Avenue, 22, is charged with operating without a valid license as a third offense within three years. He received a $500 signature bond and is scheduled to return to court on June 23.

New charges filed today, Thursday May 15:

Steven T. Walker of Birnamwood, 17, is charged with possession of narcotic drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. The incidents happened on April 30. An initial appearance is set for May 19.

Mark A. Blahnik of Clintonville, 44, is charged with possession of marijuana and operating while revoked. The offenses occurred on April 30. An initial appearance is scheduled for May 19.

John D. Dufour of Smith Avenue, 34, is charged with operating while revoked, which occurred on April 19.

Dakota J. Kiper of Graham Avenue, 19, is charged with operating while revoked, which happened on May 4.
