Langlade County criminal court activity 05.12.2014

Bonds were set in a few cases, jail term was ordered and a few new cases have been filed.

Armin Willie Bork of Forrest Avenue, 78, received a $500 signature bond for charges of violating a harassment restraining order and misdemeanor bail jumping. His next court date is scheduled for July 17.

Tristan J. Dionne of County Road F, 20, is free from custody on a $5,000 cash bond for charges of first degree child sex assault- sexual contact with a person under age 13, causing a child to view or listen to a sex act, child enticement -exposing sex organ and exposing genitals to a child.

Jacob a. Baum of Clermont Street, 26, received a $500 signature bond for charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. His next court date is set for June 9.

Nathan E. Manning of Bryant, 38, received a $1,000 signature bond for charges of perjury before court and two counts of felony bail jumping. He is scheduled to return to court on June 9.

In a separate case, Mr. Manning was sentenced to 15 days in jail for operating while intoxicated as a first offense with a passenger under age 16. He was fined $1,253 and must install an ignition interlock device in his vehicle for one year. He must also undergo alcohol assessment and follow through. He was also sentenced to one year probation for neglecting a child.

Tara K. Rasmussen of Bryant, 31, received a $1,000 signature bond on a charge of perjury before court. As a condition of bond, she must not use alcohol. Her next court date is set for June 9.

Georgianne L. Shockto of Crandon, 45, had bond set a $1,300 cash for charges of resisting or obstructing an officer and misdemeanor bail jumping. She must not use alcohol. She is scheduled to return to court on June 9.

Kenya S. Smart of Milwaukee, 26, failed to appear in court on charges of operating while revoked, failing to install or tampering with an ignition interlock device and felony bail jumping. A warrant was authorized for her arrest.

New charges filed today:

Geoffery Banks of Clermont Street, 30, was charged with strangulation and suffocation, disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia. A preliminary hearing is set for May 15.

Ryan Paul Resch of West First Avenue, 22, was charged with misdemeanor bail jumping, operating while intoxicated as a second offense, failing to install or tampering with an ignition interlock device and operating while revoked. An initial appearance is scheduled for June 3.

Nicohlas G. Yarie of Trout Road, 23, was charged with operating while revoked.
