Langlade County criminal court activity 04.28.2014

Bonds were set, warrant authorized and new cases filed in Langlade County.

Pagelyn Breeze Ducat Cornell of Crandon, 18, had bond lowered from $1,000 cash down to $500 cash on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and operating without a valid license as a second offense within three years. Conditions of bond include no use of alcohol and no driving without a valid license. She is scheduled to return to court on June 2.

Jordon M. Briggs of Deleglise Street, 21, failed to appear in court on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. A warrant was authorized with $500 bond. A bond forfeiture hearing will be held in the future.

Derek David Goplin of Balsam Street, 31, had bond set at $500 signature for a charge of disorderly conduct domestic abuse. He pleaded not guilty and is set to return to court on May 12. As conditions of bond he must not have contact with the victim.

Laurie A. Hoernke of Second Avenue, 51, received a $500 signature bond for a charge of disorderly conduct domestic abuse. She entered a plea of not guilty and will return to court on June 9. Conditions of bond are no use of alcohol and no violent contact with the victim.

Terry L. Hoernke of Second Avenue, 42, also received a $500 signature bond for disorderly conduct domestic abuse. He entered a plea of not guilty and is scheduled to return to court on June 9. As conditions of bond, he must not use alcohol and not have violent contact with the victim.

Timothy M. Rice of Second Avenue, 40, had bond set at $1,000 signature for charges of burglary into a building or dwelling and felony bail jumping. As a condition of bond, he must not have contact with the victim. He is scheduled to return to court on June 2.

Corey J. Sommers of Lily, 18, received a $500 signature bond for a charge of possession of marijuana. He entered a plea of not guilty. His next court date is set for June 9.

New charges filed today:

Brandon Lee St. George of Lincoln Street, 24, was charged with causing a child age 13 to 18 to view sexual activity.

Paul C. Artz of Deleglise Street, 66, was charged with operating while intoxicated as a 7th, 8th or 9th offense and operating while revoked.

Peter J. Spencer of Sixth Avenue, 28, was charged with criminal damage to property.

Brandyn T. Vandenboom of Second Avenue, 19, was charged with resisting or obstructing an officer.

Zachary M. Moore of Summit Lake, 22, was charged with theft of video service connection. The incident occurred on April 1. An initial appearance is scheduled for May 19.

Melanie Thompson of Summit Lake, 21, was also charged with theft of video service connection. Her initial appearance is set for May 19.
