Judge dishes out bonds on a few local cases

A handful of cases received bond amounts in Langlade County Court. Chad Hussong of Weston, 39, received a $500 cash bond for fifth offense of operating while intoxicated. He was arrested during a traffic stop on November 30th. David Stainbrook of Birnamwood, 37, received a $500 signature bond for second offense of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was charged after a traffic stop on November 7th. Ward Deverney of First Avenue, 46, had his bond set at $2,500 cash for child abuse, battery, disorderly condut, bail jumping and possession of drug paraphernalia. He and a female were fighting when a falling chair injured a toddler. He is accused of throwing a beer can and punching the female. Jason J. DeRuyter of Highway G, 21, entered a plea of not guilty to charges of possession of drug paraphernalia. Zachary J. Duranceau of Seventh Avenue, 32, waived a preliminary hearing and entered a plea of not guilty for charges of bail jumping, strangulation and suffocation and domestic disorderly conduct.
