As funds grow short, Salvation Army ramps up its bell-ringing campaign

Salvation Army bell ringers are appearing outside Langlade County retailers today, and its not a moment too soon for the organizations that rely on community support. Despite a record-setting 2011 campaign, funds for assistance were exhausted one month short of the new fiscal year, according to Michelle Arrowood, executive director of Langlade County’s AVAIL organization.
