Fisherman has a good day on the water, but not in court

A summer fishing trip cost a local man a whole lot more than the cost of bait Tuesday. In July, Cedar M. Kennedy, 28, of 204 Gowan Road was ticketed by the Department of Natural Resources for possessing fish over the allowed daily limit. Officials said he caught 18 large mouth bass in Rabe Lake near Polar. The limit is five. On Tuesday, the ticket made its way before Judge Fred Kawalski. Punishment for the crime was $885.75.
