A fire destroyed the Lakeland Senior Center in Woodruff early Wednesday morning. Seniors had meals in there, and also held many community events. Officials are not sure how the fire started yet. No one was hurt in the fire. Six different units responded to the scene including Arbor Vitae, St. Germain, Woodruff, Minocqua Fire, Lake Tomahawk and Hazlehurst Fire Departments.
