Drunk driving arrests over the weekend

According to news reports, a few locals were arrested for operating while intoxicated. Some had more charges tacked on. A 55 year old Pelican Lake woman was arrested Sunday morning for operating while intoxicated, obstructing an officer and reckless endangerment after she rammed her car into a pick-up truck owned by a family member. A 30 year old White Lake man was arrested for a fifth offense of operating while intoxicated. A 37 year old man, residing in the Town of Rolling was arrested Saturday for a disorderly conduct charge. He is accused of yelling at his girlfriend, causing her to lock herself into a room. A traffic stop at Highway 55 and 64 turned up a glass pipe with residue and a bag of less than a gram of marijuana. A 40 year old Antigo man was arrested for operating while intoxicated when he was stopped around 5:00am at Gowan Road and Forrest Ave. A 23 year old Antigo woman was arrested for drunk driving around 2:50am at Bear Lake Road and Highway 45. An open bottle of beer was found in her vehicle. A 17 year old man was cited for possession of marijuana. He was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped for a traffic violation. A 25 year old man was cited for retail theft from Kwik Trip. A 45 year old woman was cited for hit and run. A 45 year old man was cited for driving while revoked, after an accident investigation on Smith Avenue. A White Lake man is expected to be charged with possession of marijuana after police went to the home to investigate a harassment complaint. Approximately 32 grams of marijuana was found as well as drug paraphernalia.
